Passionate supporters of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more response on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Many of attendees had congregated in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the second of a dual interpretation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the surprising relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of 2024 in the UK, and received a dozen award recognitions, earning two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
