The rising star maintains considerable online audience

The young golfer will have numerous prominent cheerleaders when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several courses worldwide and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to compete and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the best player worldwide," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of top competitors in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, particularly reaching the next generation.

Kai has millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle label.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
